As with all hand crafted products, imperfections are part of the process. All of our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to Siba Street within 7 days of delivery.

You may return your unused products for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling, within 14 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for paying return shipping charges. Please contact us at sibastreet@gmail.com for further details.

Please adhere to the following guidelines to make sure that you fully enjoy your Siba Street candle experience: 

• Never leave a burning candle unattended! Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.
• Trim the wick to ¼ inch each time before lighting. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and causing excessive flickering or smoking.
• Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable.
• Burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Avoid lighting candles in confined spaces where oxygen flow might be restricted.
• Make sure there are no drafts, fans, or air currents that could cause the flame to flicker wildly. 
• Extinguish a candle if the flame gets too close to the candle holder or container.
• Place burning candles at least 3 inches apart from one another.
• A burning candle should not be used as a nightlight.
• A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.
• Place candles out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
• Extinguish the candle properly and allow the candle to cool completely before relighting it. This helps prevent the wick from becoming unstable or causing the candle to crack.
